Veterinary Technicians
I came to Sunset Veterinary Hospital in Fall 2002. I had worked at a cat-only vet practice in Hawaii until I moved in 2001. Currently, my life is filled with kitty-love as I share my home with 5 cats (Chandler, Phoebe, Piper, Wednesday, and Speed Racer) - Cherie
Since 2004, I have worked at Sunset Veterinary Hospital with the goal of becoming a veterinarian myself. My favorite part of working here is assisting in surgery. My pets include an easy-going horse, an enthusiastic German Shepherd and a funny little cat. -Leslie
~Update: Off to finish college this fall~
I am thrilled to be a technician as well as a receptionist at SVH. I was formerly a dance/drama teacher and I am througouhly enjoying making a career transition to the veterinary field. I graduated cum laude from Sonoma State University. I have had animals all my life and believe that companion animals deserve the best there is to offer in medical care. I have two cats who light up my life, Satski and Honda. -Anita
I was born in Lima, Peru, and I have been involved with animal welfare since a very young age. My love for animals led me to study Veterinary Medicine in my country. I moved to the US for family reasons and now I find myself working as a vet tech at Sunset Vet. Here, I found wonderful people from who I learn every day and who give me the confidence to pursue my dream of one day become a veterinarian in this country. I looove animals, I respect them, care for them and enjoy working with them. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love and to love what I do. -Erika
I have been working at Sunset Vet since June 2009, and it has been a wonderful experience. I am a senior in high school and will major in Animal Sciences in the fall. My goal is to one day become a veterinarian and Sunset Veterinary Hospital has provided me with the chance to learn about the profession. -Jennifer

After graduating from UC Riverside in 2008, I worked at another vet hospital prior to coming to Sunset Vet. I have experience with all aspects of veterinary medicine as well as some receptionist work. So far, I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. Currently I have two dogs, Marley and Pepe. -Marcela
Receptionists
I started working at Sunset Vet Hospital in March 1991. I have mainly been a receptionist, but I have also assisted the doctors by holding animals or giving vaccines. -Marge
I am one of the receptionists at Sunset Veterinary Hospital, and I have worked here for nine years. I enjoy greeting all the wonderful cats and dogs every day. I don't have any pets at this time, but I have had the pleasure of owning cats, and one dog, over the years. -Chris
